Legal Secretary The candidate will handle primarily personal injury and insurance matters. Duties include: calendaring of all incoming mail and attorney/client appointments; preparing routine forms, correspondence and pleadings; answering phone calls as needed and conducting new client intakes; assisting 2 to 3 attorneys with clerical tasks and scheduling; and handling transcription as needed.

The candidate should have 3+ years of legal secretarial experience. Must be proficient in Abacus or a similar calendaring program, and possess knowledge of all aspects of State and Federal civil calendaring requirements and deadlines. Excellent communication skills will be required. Should be highly organized and detailed oriented. Must have a professional appearance.
