Patent Attorney The candidate will manage all aspects of the company's internal intellectual property creation process including drafting patent applications and liaising with inventors and outside patent counsel. Will report directly to the company's IP Counsel. Assist inventors with disclosure drafting. Review and edit submitted invention disclosures. Liaise with internal and external inventors on an ongoing basis. Document evidence of patent infringement and potential damages (preparing claims charts, presentations, and the like). Review PTO office actions and working with outside patent counsel. Draft internal patent applications. The candidate should be a registered patent attorney with a B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics or other engineering field. Must have 3+ years of related experience in private practice or as in-house counsel. Should have substantial utility patent application drafting experience. Must have high degree of knowledge of Internet and related media (audio and video) applications and protocols.
